The best and the proper way to attend a yoga class

Hi friends,

Today the topic of discussion is Yoga Etiquette. I will tell you what is the proper way to attend a yoga class. You must be wondering what’s the big deal about attending a Yoga class in “a particular fashion or manner”.¬† Well in this regard, I have to highlight it to you that Yoga classes are different than aerobic classes as the yoga sessions have certain breathing exercises which gets disrupted by some unlikely behavior in the class and it leads to complications.

Yoga needs to be practiced in a friendly and congenial atmosphere and for this its necessary to follow proper yoga etiquette.  Make it a point to arrive in the class 5 minutes early. If you get late, do not enter the class making a lot of noise or commotion.  Also do not wear your outside shoes inside the Yoga studio as everyone spends a considerable time on the studio floor.

Before entering the class, ensure that your cellphone is switched off and you are not wearing any jewelry or bangles which makes noise. Also do not put on perfume, oil or deodorant having a smell or fragrance which attracts others’ attention towards you.

Once inside the class and during the session, show respect to your instructor even if you don’t like him or her and do not interrupt them unnecessarily when your they are giving instrcutions.
